Data analytic and big data are trending. Many universities and colleges need to teach their students how to use data analytic skills. This requires the availability of data sets. I am working on developing a web-based application that allows instructors to customize and create their own data sets. The application allows instructors to create a query to be applied on a data set. I need the team to provide a model for building queries that allow the instructor to build whatever query they want. The team has to understand that the instructor can use the data set that they want (which is unknown to us), so they have to think of a way to allow the model to be flexible as possible to allow the instructors to build the query that they want for their selected database. I have attached several alternatives of an open source code that could provide an insight of what I'm looking for. I will be working with the team explaining the concept in detail and brainstorming ideas with them.
Integrating an accounting game into Web-Application for educational tools

I need the team to provide and think of the possible data that could be generated in a data set by an instructor and to think backward to create the different variables and constraints in generating it. They should be also reviewing and exploring the different types of data sets that could be used in data analytic, accounting, finance, and other university-level courses. The team should also be thinking of the possible queries that an instructor would need to apply to the generated data set. I will be working with the team explaining the concept in detail and brainstorming ideas with them.

The application creates a random dataset for each student within given constraints that keep the schema of the original dataset valid. The application then allows the instructor to create one or more questions with the associated query for each question. The application is to store the synthetic dataset that is created for each student, together with the respective answers. The student downloads the synthetic dataset answers the questions using any software or application as instructed by their instructors, and then they can plug the results back into the web application. The web application corrects the assignment and provides feedback to both the instructor and the student.

The application allows users (mainly faculty members and sometimes students) to submit material. We need to develop several agreements/acknowledgments: One is for our ebook application. The ebook application provides the opportunity for readers to submit material, where it is associated with a specific concept after being peer reviewed. We want a simple statement that the book's reader has to agree upon before submitting their material. The statement should indicate that the submitted material is original, that the reader allows the publisher to publish the material, and has its copyright as well. Another application allows the faculty members to submit quiz questions. Again, we need to develop an agreement that faculty members have to approve before submitting any material. The agreement should indicate that the submitted material is original, that the faculty member allows the publisher to publish the material, transfer the copyright to the publisher, and then we need a special clause that allows the publisher to pay royalties to the faculty members for using their submitted material.
