Requirements
Based on organizational goals for new products or product diversification, students will conduct secondary market research to create a business plan you can implement in your organization. Research will be conducted using a variety of approaches, including:
- Industry profile and outlook
- Competitor analysis (SWOT)
- Target market analysis
- Pricing strategy
- Marketing strategy
- Operations analysis (HR, Legal issues, Risk assessment)
- Financial forecasting

- Target market assessment, feasibility study, or business plan for a new tourism/leisure business (e.g. a new recreation program for a community centre, or a re-vamped hotel rewards program).
- Destination marketing plan to focus on branding and positioning strategies
