project planning research health entrepreneurship innovationAre you interested in engaging with the new generation of Health Care workers?
The Health Entrepreneurship and Innovation students from Arizona State University are focused on creating positive changes and innovations in health care. This program prepares students with the freedom to collaboratively contribute to the design of new processes and solutions that impact people, products, environments, and health systems. Students are ready to tackle a health care challenge of your choosing using modern technology, public policy, and communication to manage the implementation of innovation in the health care arena.
Students are available for 120 hours of placement over 15 weeks, beginning Sept 2020.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually. ASU internships are a for-credit experience.

Project Examples
Requirements
Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete. Providing a central project creates the structure for the internship, and gives the students (and organization) a tangible goal.
ASU Health Entrepreneurship and Innovation students are trained to:
- Develop competence in the design, application, and testing of innovation processes and products
- Lead processes of innovation and transformation
- Incorporate current trends with interprofessional teams
- Utilize evidence-based decision making to guide internal and external collaboration
Examples of hosts which are suitable include but are not limited to the following:
- Start-ups
- Health organizations
- Innovative design companies
- State or county health departments
If you have an internship position to offer, please submit your project page to this posting and it will be reviewed by Caryn Unterschuetz.
