Learner goals and capabilities

Students develop a strategy for a business and translate the strategy into actionable items followed by an implementation plan. Typically students analyze the existing business model and strategic direction, identify strategic issues, suggest alternatives, evaluate alternatives and recommend a way forward. The emphasis is on measuring the immeasurable and translating strategy into quantifiable actions for control purposes. Our students should be able to work with both profit and nonprofit organizations.

Alternatively, students can also develop an implementation plan using performance management approaches like The Balanced Scorecard and Strategy mapping.
