Requirements
Beginning this January, undergraduate students in teams will dedicate 90 hours per group objectively researching and examining international vendors, customers, and distribution centers with the goal of maximizing company productivity in a global economy and taking advantage of global opportunities
Based on their insights, the student-consultants will develop actionable recommendations.
Project examples include but are not limited to:
- Improving efficiency and workflow in distribution center warehouses.
- Long haul and short-haul delivery operations.
- Quantifying cost savings.
- Determining the best price for transportation services.
- Demand forecasting.
- Logistics strategies or improvements
