Analysis

Proposal

  • Proposed solutions or recommendations, including benefits and risks
  • Rough estimate of costs, including time and intangibles

Implementation

  • Change management strategy addressing all stakeholders

Project Examples

Requirements

The scope and nature of the student project will depend on your company's individual request.

Project examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Applying different change models to your change challenge.
  • Assessing sources of support and resistance to change and strategies to reduce resistance.
  • Application of change diagnostic tools used to assess organizational effectiveness.
  • Assessment of existing human resource management practices.
  • Identifying organizational development intervention options using evidence-based practices.
  • Evaluating effectiveness of organizational development interventions.

Students will consult the representative from your organization about your strategic goals related to the proposed change, and which processes and activities have been designed and implemented to support organizational effectiveness during the change process. They may also ask about current HR and management practices, including how employees are recruited, selected, trained and developed, compensated, and how performance is measured and managed.
