Details

Oceanic Impact aims to organize an engaging and educational fair to celebrate Ocean Day on June 8. The goal is to raise awareness about ocean conservation and educate the public on marine ecosystems. The project involves planning and coordinating an in-person event that includes interactive exhibits, guest speakers, and educational workshops. The team will need to research potential exhibitors, partners, and sponsors, develop potential educational material, and create promotional materials to attract attendees. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their skills in research, event planning, marketing, and environmental education. The challenge is to create a cohesive and informative experience that appeals to a diverse audience, from school children to adults to foster their interest in ocean conservation.

Deliverables

The project deliverables may include a comprehensive of list of potential exhibitors and speakers (including contact information, their specialization, etc.), and workshop topics (and their executions). Additionally, if there is interest, the team will produce promotional materials such as website updates and social media content to advertise the fair. These deliverables will ensure that the Ocean Day Education Fair is well-organized and effectively communicates its educational goals.
