Time-sensitive Data Analysis

What is the main goal of this project? Design and implement a predictive model to analyze operational time-dependent building equipment data to maintain building equipment, and design a predictive model to provide the best strategy to operate building equipment during peak demand events. Candidates will work with SISA's senior software developers and get their support and mentorship.

Software Research for Mobile Web Application

SISA energy is an innovative energy auditing company with a mission to help reduce greenhouse gases produced by buildings. Our company would like to explore mobile web application and its software architecture and open-source support for a new product. In advance of any product build, our company spends a good amount of time researching potential technologies, and architectures, and how they will fit together to fit our customer’s needs. We would like you to evaluate our new product’s needs and compare that against current open source technologies and architectural patterns to develop an overall software architecture we could use to implement in our product. This will involve: Identify key areas of our product and its web application. Identify open source software available and software architecture patterns best suited for this application. Creation of a detailed software architecture model, highlighting key components, software, patterns, and anything else needed.

Green Building - Incentive Database Creation

SISA Energy is an innovative energy auditing company with a mission to help reduce greenhouse gases produced by buildings. SISA is a startup that pushes the boundaries of energy performance improvement in the building sector. With engineering and data science expertise on board, we offer optimized energy solutions for every project's needs. Our company would like to explore decarbonization and GHG emission reduction incentives available for the buildings sector, both federally and provincially. This will include research on potential matches that fit our customers’ plans to reduce energy consumption and GHG emission. We would like to include these new databases in our online platform to develop a comprehensive financial analysis. This will involve: Identifying available incentives for each energy conservation measure, Creation of a detailed database and highlighting key components. Creating a logic for how incentives are selected Creating a flowchart for keeping the database up to date
