Working with the Green Career Centre has been an absolute delight! Their programming, which is centered on community engagement, is making a significant impact on the lives of BIPOC communities, especially women seeking employment opportunities in the sustainability sector. As a part of their Women in Sustainability Community Research project, I had the privilege of assisting them in managing important conversations about the challenges and prospects for women in sustainability. Our ultimate objective is to create a policy brief that will be disseminated widely to our network of excellent stakeholders! I strongly urge anyone interested in gaining skills in sustainability leadership to participate in some way with the Green Career Centre, as the work you do with them is immensely fulfilling and vital to addressing some of the most pressing climate risks facing our country today.
