Working with the Green Career Centre has been an immense delight! Their community-oriented programs are leaving a significant impact on the lives of BIPOC communities, especially women seeking employment in the sustainability field. It has been an honour for me to support them in managing their Women in Sustainability Community Research project by facilitating important discussions that explore the barriers and opportunities for women in sustainability. The ultimate aim is to produce a widely shared policy brief that will benefit the various stakeholders in our network and beyond! I highly recommend anyone interested in gaining relevant skills in sustainability leadership to get involved with the Green Career Centre in any capacity. The work is highly gratifying and crucial in addressing some of the most pressing climate risks our nation is facing today.
