There is an emphasis upon strategy, co-creation, product and process design, value and benefits which are associated with the front-ending of the project life-cycle. The aim is to identify desirable, feasible and viable projects. Students will work on a project over the course of a two week period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication and collaborative tools. Students in this program/course will gain both creative and critical skills to help you imagine and plan projects in today’s highly complex and uncertain business and economic environment. Students are taught and supervised by leading innovation and project management experts in the University of Sussex Business School. This course draws on expertise from SPRU – Science Policy Research Unit. Within an environment that values innovation and sustainability, they’ll learn to imagine and plan projects effectively and efficiently.

Looking to elevate your business, and bring it to the next level? Bring on students from the University of Sussex to be your student-consultants, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects over the partnership period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students are introduced to the different levels of behaviour in the workplace, the role of leadership and management, and the causes of organisational change. Content is structured around four key areas: the individual, the group, the organisation and society. Students will start off by exploring the nature and contexts of organisations and management practice in the private, public and voluntary sector, then they will examine different theories and approaches on leadership and ways to manage people, and finally, how the process and drivers of change, and the responses of staff and other stakeholders, play an integral part in organisational life and improving performance.

A group of 5 MBA student-consultants will solve a challenge currently facing your organization over an intensive 2 to 2.5-week period.
