The main goal for the project is to assist FESTIBEC AFRO-BLACK WEB TV in editing their business plan and grant writing to ensure that their mission and vision are effectively communicated to potential investors and grant providers. The project will involve:


- Reviewing and editing the existing business plan to ensure clarity and alignment with the organization's mission.


- Researching and identifying potential grants that align with the organization's goals and objectives.


- Writing and editing grant proposals to effectively communicate the organization's needs and impact.


- Collaborating with the organization's team to gather necessary information and data for the business plan and grant proposals.


Deliverables


The learners will need to complete the following tasks to achieve the project goal:


- A revised and edited business plan that effectively communicates the organization's mission, vision, and objectives.


- Completed grant proposals tailored to specific funding opportunities, showcasing the organization's impact and potential.


- Collaboration with the organization's team to gather necessary information and data for the business plan and grant proposals.



Final deliverables:


- A professionally edited business plan ready for presentation to potential investors and stakeholders.


- Completed grant proposals ready for submission to grant providers.


Mentorship

Students will be supported in completing the business and grant editing and writing project through dedicated faculty guidance refereing to existing ones and specialized editing tools, as well as databases, research materials, and training workshops on writing and research methodologies. Peer collaboration opportunities and feedback mechanisms will foster a collaborative learning environment, while project management support will aid in effective planning and execution. Additionally, access to funding opportunities and assistance in grant application processes will be provided, ensuring students have comprehensive support throughout the project, leading to successful completion and skill development in business and grant writing.
