Writing Grant Proposal Development for FESTIBEC

FESTIBEC Afro-Black Web TV is seeking to expand its operations and enhance its content offerings by securing additional funding through grants. The goal of this project is to identify suitable grant opportunities and develop compelling grant proposals that align with FESTIBEC's mission and objectives. The project will involve researching potential grant providers, understanding their requirements, and crafting tailored proposals that highlight FESTIBEC's unique contributions to the Afro-Black community and media landscape. Students will apply their research and writing skills to create a comprehensive grant proposal package. This project will provide learners with practical experience in grant writing, an essential skill in the nonprofit and media sectors. - Research and identify at least three potential grant opportunities. - Analyze grant requirements and align them with FESTIBEC's goals. - Develop a detailed grant proposal for each identified opportunity. - Collaborate with FESTIBEC to ensure proposals accurately reflect the company's mission and objectives.

ONLINE ZOOM Podcast Production

Since podcasts are becoming an increasingly popular content medium, our company hopes to capitalize on this by creating our own. In this project, students will collaborate with us to take advantage of trending media and create a season of our own podcast. We would like students to deliver a 5-episode podcast series based on our company’s nice to resonate with our target audience. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Collaborating with the project manager to form a name and a theme for the podcast, and a topic for each episode. Script various components of each podcast episode such as the introduction, welcome, call to action, and outro. Create cover art for the podcast. Research and plan what will be discussed on an episode-by-episode basis. Record and edit each episode. Facilitating special guest appearances in one or more episodes.

The main goal for the project is to create engaging and informative audio-visual content that highlights the stories and experiences of the Afro-Black community in Canada. This content will be focused on delivering factual journalism related to the community, ensuring that their voices are inclusively portrayed in the Canadian digital media landscape. This will involve several different steps for the learners, including: - Researching and identifying relevant stories within the Afro-Black community. - Developing scripts and storyboards for audio-visual content production. - Gathering visual (photo-archives)) materials to support the content. - Editing and producing high-quality audio-visual content that aligns with the mission and values of FESTIBEC AFRO-BLACK TV. - Ensuring that the content is factual, informative, and engaging for the target audience. - Collaborating with the FESTIBEC AFRO-BLACK TV team to ensure the content meets their standards and objectives.

Business Plan and Grant Writing - Editing
