Aston Tax and Accounting Website
The goal of this project is to create a website for Aston Tax and Accounting. This website should be designed in Figma and built using React + Vite (ideally using TypeScript) and deployed on our AWS infrastructure. The website should be user-friendly and visually appealing, with a focus on providing information about the services provided by Aston Tax and Accounting.
Tenure Backend Development
The main goal of this project is to build the backend for Tenure, a savings and rewards fintech startup, using Node Js / Typescript. This will involve integrating the backend with the web react front end and the mobile react native apps.
Music NFT Web Platform for Music Creators/Consumers
We are looking for experienced full stack developers in Typescript (Node/React)/AWS DynamoDB to help with a startup building features for a Music NFT Web Platform for music creators/consumers. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Developing full stack features for a web platform for music creators/consumers.(frontend/backend/ops work( aws)) - Integrating the platform with AWS DynamoDB/other sdk's and also have an understanding of AWS Dev Ops work - Testing your code with backend unit tests/ integration tests - Optimizing the platform for performance and scalability.
Platform & Mobile Apps Testing Project
The main goal of this project is to test out the Platform & Mobile Apps of Lotus Addiction Therapy Inc. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: - Testing the Platform & Mobile Apps for usability, performance, and security. - Identifying any bugs or issues in the Platform & Mobile Apps. - Developing a comprehensive report on the findings of the testing process. - Suggesting improvements to the Platform & Mobile Apps based on the findings.
Loki Project
The purpose of this project is to develop a new product (Loki), which would be a a react native mobile app with a nodejs backend both written in typescript. The app should allow consumers to find ratings /reviews /book /pay for service providers in their area. It should also have a geolocation based map which each service provider would show up based on the filters they are looking for such as babysitters /barbers /car mechanics /etc.
HostelMatch - Web App Development
The main goal for this project is to enhance the user experience and functionality of our platform, HostelMatch, which is utilized by solo backpackers worldwide for hostel discovery. We aim to collaborate with students to implement updates that will refine both the appearance and performance of our platform. This involves tasks such as: Working on the backend: Creating APIs, editing the database, and ensuring smooth data flow and functionality. Utilizing Tailwind CSS and React: Implementing changes to the frontend to enhance visual appeal, usability, and interactivity. By engaging with students, we seek to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to our platform, ultimately providing a more seamless and enjoyable experience for our users.
Chrome Extension Enhancement and Re-launch
YCJ Venture Studio has multiple AI software products in its portfolio. They're seeking a skilled frontend developer to enhance its existing Chrome extension for one of the products. The is aiming to improve user experience and functionality. The current extension has 5000+ daily users and has received feedback indicating areas for improvement, such as user interface design, performance optimization, and additional features. The goal is to address these issues, implement enhancements, and prepare the extension for a successful re-launch in the market. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of web technologies, user experience design, and software development. The tasks involved include analyzing user feedback, designing and implementing improvements, and testing the updated extension. The project is designed to be completed by a team of learners from a computer science or software engineering program, ensuring they have the necessary skills to tackle the tasks effectively.
