Are you interested in engaging with the new generation of Health Care workers? The Health Entrepreneurship and Innovation students from Arizona State University are focused on creating positive changes and innovations in health care. This program prepares students with the freedom to collaboratively contribute to the design of new processes and solutions that impact people, products, environments, and health systems. Students are ready to tackle a health care challenge of your choosing using modern technology, public policy, and communication to manage the implementation of innovation in the health care arena. Students are available for 120 hours of placement over 15 weeks, beginning Sept 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually. ASU internships are a for-credit experience.

Medical Device Design

Do you have a healthcare-related problem that you wish you could get at if you had just a little more time? Teams of 3-5 students from Arizona State University will work to address an engineering design problem that your organization is facing. The team will participate in the capstone design with guidance from a faculty member with expertise in biomedical engineering and medical device design. By the end of the course, the team can present market analyses, bench test and modeling results, and prototypes to demonstrate a feasible solution to your problem. All work with companies will be done remotely.
MBA Brand Strategy Project

Artist Portfolio and Cultural Awareness in an Entrepreneurial Environment

This course aims to connect students your company to gain insights on the creation of an entrepreneurial venture as well as the development of an innovative, entrepreneurial and team approach to business. While students will gain an awareness of the experiences an entrepreneur will have in practice, you will benefit from eager minds that will be able to bring fresh perspectives to you and your business. Students will also be expected to learn to define themselves as an artist while identifying a need in the community. This involves creating a marketable personal portfolio.
Master of Science in Business Analytics Applied Project

The on-campus MS-BA is a full-time, 9-month program in the business school. Students gain experience in advanced descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive data analysis methods while using the most current tools, packages, and platforms for data analysis. Teams of 3-4 students work on the projects from January through April. Each project includes a kick-off session, weekly syncs with the client, a mid-term presentation, a final presentation, a final report, and other associated deliverables as required (if you would like additional meetings, please note them in your project submission). We have worked on over 150 applied projects with approximately 50 companies over the last 5 years. There is no sponsorship fee, we sign NDAs, and the client retains ownership of IP. Ethics of Technology Entrepreneurship: Autonomous Vehicles

Today, technology is used to help drivers from becoming distracted, avoid road hazards and automate many navigation tasks. The future of autonomous vehicles will eclipse assisted driving technology, operating much differently and engendering a new realm of ethical and moral questions. This course explores ethical issues in technological entrepreneurship, specifically focusing on the implementation of autonomous vehicles. Pose a problem to a group of students who will be able to deliver a sharp analysis of the problem from diverse ethical perspectives. Students are primarily fourth-year Technology Entrepreneurship or Operations Management majors or graduate Engineering, Business or Global Business students.
Entrepreneurship and Value Creation (Virtual Internship)

Virtual Internship Opportunity Bring on one or more students from Arizona State University in the Entrepreneurship and Value Creation (EVC) program to be your virtual interns, in a project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools. Students can work to solve pressing problems and opportunities, develop impactful team-derived solutions, interact with customers and end-users, and pitch their innovative solutions to your organization. Projects should be focused on venture development, customer discovery and/or market analysis. Students are available for up to 75 hours of placement from July 1st to August 11th. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually.

Students will develop a business model canvas for a personal new music product idea or service. Students taking the class register with a basic idea of a business model for a startup or project they will pursue throughout the duration of the course. Each student has taken an introductory Arts Entrepreneurship course.
Digital Customer Relationship Development

This semester the course is seeking proposals for a brief three-week project with a small consumer goods company that wishes to investigate ways to gain closer relationships with current customers and investigate other ways to gain new customers through digital means. In mid-March, four teams of four students will work with your organization to develop strategies to help create deeper or new customer relationships. The teams will be competing among themselves for the best execution and plan.
